The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of a new business at 307 Nelson Street in Cambridge: Medicine Creek Healing Massage, owned by Judy Hayes, RN, Licensed Massage Therapist.
Prior to opening her new business, Judy spent 33 years as a Registered Nurse at Tri Valley Health System, and continues to work as an RN in Kearney two days a week. In 2017, she decided she could better help people by becoming a massage therapist. In 2018, she received her diploma and completed her clinical under Sierra Cappel at Cappel Chiropractic.
“I specialize in Swedish massage and deep tissue massage,” said Hayes. “And, I recently learned about hot stones and hot bamboo, so have been incorporating those into my regular massage sessions.”
Hayes says massage is beneficial for a number of reasons: overall relaxation, better sleep, sore/stiff muscles, depression, anxiety and lymphatic drainage. “I even had a client who had swollen feet for years and the doctors couldn’t pinpoint the problem. After one massage, all of her shoes fit. I’ve also had massage improve pain from plantar fasciitis,” Hayes said.
Hours of operation are flexible including evenings and weekends. Cost is $1 per minute. Please call 308-320-6332 for an appointment. If no answer, please leave a message.
